We want you to know that wherever you are
on your spiritual journey, whether you’re just beginning to
investigate Christianity or you already have a mature relationship
with Jesus, we’re here to help you take the next step
spiritually and to offer you a place where you can be involved
in the work
of the Lord.
The focal point of the week at our church is
Sunday morning, when we gather together to worship, learn, and
make and meet friends. Our main Sunday service is to provide
a message that will help you with real-life issues.
We want to help you understand the truths of
the Bible and how to apply them to your life so that what you
learn on Sunday will have a real impact in your life the rest
of the week. At the very center of our Sunday morning service
is worship. Because coming to church is not about religion, it
is about a personal relationship with God.
We have a wonderfully rich music ministry. At
Albany Baptist, we enjoy the great hymns of our Christian heritage
as well as the newer songs of our faith.
On Sunday mornings, the Welcome Center in the
main lobby of the church is staffed with people who look forward
to helping you feel at home at Albany Baptist. Additional greeters
are also on hand to assist you.
Sunday Evening Worship
Evening service begins each Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
