The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to help men develop a heart for God by teaching, encouraging, and challenging each other to be Christ-like servants at Albany Baptist Church, in their homes and communities, and around the world. As men are bombarded everyday with mixed ideas about success, relationships, and happiness, it is increasingly important for men to stand shoulder to shoulder to champion God’s design for manhood.

The Men’s Ministry is open to members and the community featuring programs, special speakers, and a variety of opportunities to fellowship. Programs sponsored by the Men’s Ministry include:

The Men’s Fellowship Breakfast is usually held the first Saturday of the month at 8 a.m. in the cafeteria.

The annual Wild Game Dinner is held in February.

The Father/Son Picnic is an annual event. It is held in June and features fishing, archery, BB gun contests, softball, horseshoes, and of course lots of good food!
