Jesus commanded the church to go into all the world and make disciples. At Albany Baptist, we believe that God desires us to go beyond the walls of the church to a hurting world with the Gospel of Jesus.
Our desire is to create a climate of mission passion, understanding and involvement within Albany Baptist, with a focus on glorifying God personally and seeking for His name to be known and worshiped within our local community and among the nations.
We believe that every member within Albany Baptist has a role to play in God's global purpose to establish His glory among the nations.

Through Missions, we support a number of local area ministries as well as a growing number of foreign global interests. We support Missions, in obedience to Matthew 28: 18-20: Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
