We
have an exciting and growing ministry for all junior high
school (grades 7-8) and high school
(grades 9-12) age youth. Our youth ministry seeks to introduce
teens to a personal faith in the Savior Jesus Christ, to connect
them with
others in meaningful relationships, to develop their faith
so that they will become fully-devoted followers of Christ,
and
to equip
them to demonstrate Christ’s love to others through ministry.
Albany Baptist Youth Ministries is lead by our full-time youth
pastor,
Randy Clark.
There are small group meetings as well as a full-scale youth
service on Sunday mornings. Each of these services offers great
opportunities to hear an encouraging message, eat some food,
have some fun, and get to know other youth. At least once a month,
there is an outreach event for fun and fellowship. The teens
invite friends to play laser tag, hang out at theme parks, enjoy
music concerts, ice-skate, go to parties, attend weekend seminars,
or just go out to eat. No matter what, the goal is to have a
great time and, ultimately, draw closer to God and each other.
